My PayPal account is verified but it doesn't connect

To confirm that your PayPal account is verified, when you login to PayPal your status will show as 'Verified'. You will see that status just under your personalized welcome message.

The only other reason why your PayPal account might not be connecting is because you're entering the wrong first or last name in the fields provided. The name you enter needs to match exactly what PayPal have on file. Again, you can check this by logging into PayPal.com and seeing what the welcome message says.

If PayPal shows the message "Welcome, James Hill" you will need to enter 'James' in the first name field and 'Hill' in the last name field. If it shows "Welcome, James Smith Hill" you need to enter 'James Smith' in the first name field and 'Hill' in the last name field.
